Insulator is an indispensable component of the power grid, but also a necessary condition to ensure the smooth operation of the power grid, so the correct installation of insulators is very important. The following section describes the correct installation method of insulators.
Insulators and wall-piercing bushing should be inspected before installation. Ceramic parts and flanges should be complete without cracks, and fillers in bonding place should be complete and firmly combined.
The top surface of the post insulator or wall-piercing sleeve installed on the same plane or vertical plane shall be located on the same plane, and the position of the center line shall conform to the design requirements. The installation center line of the pillar insulator in the straight section of the bus should be on the same straight line. Its base or flange shall not be embedded in concrete or plastering layer. When the pillar insulators are overlapped, the central line should be consistent, the fixtures should be firm and the fasteners should be complete. The cushion gaskets such as rubber or asbestos paper with thickness not less than 1.5mm should be padded between the contact surface of the low-voltage post insulator without base and cap and the metal fixture.
The above contents are arranged according to the problems encountered by the students in their actual work, for reference. If there are any problems, please communicate and correct them in time.
